I began my site in 2007 and it was an idea that came about after I found myself in a position where I needed to support myself and my kids. I took a bad habit I had shopping and decided I would turn it into a positive. Now I try and make purchases when I absolutely have too. The sale rack is a must to check out. I don't deprive myself every once in a while I do saunter over to the regular racks and have made a purchase out of want rather than need but I am proud to say those occasions are far and few between.

My merchandise is a mixture of new with tags attached, new with no tags and "like new" or "gently worn" which means its been worn. But rest assured my like new and gently worn merchandise is in great condition.
I am hoping to spread my love of vintage clothing and shopping sales racks and thrift stores to the younger generation. Its a thrill that comes when you find a vintage coat, dress or shoe in mint condition. Something that you know will not be seen on everyone. It enforces a quality which allows individuality, creativity, while learning the value of a dollar and how much can be saved and gained by paying attention to how you spend your money.
